Growing up in the UK, I experienced the challenges of navigating from grassroots football to academy level. Despite playing county youth football and alongside players who turned professional, I lacked the structured support and personal guidance needed to reach the next level.
That’s why I launched Proedge Football Academy — to offer football coaching in Farnborough, Aldershot And Fleet that does more than just train skills. We provide youth football coaching that focuses on confidence, technical mastery, and positional intelligence, helping young players thrive on and off the pitch.
Proedge is committed to creating a bridge for players — especially those without access to academy systems — by delivering expert-led, tailored football sessions in local communities. Having grown up without the right guidance to break through, he’s made it his mission to provide players with not only the technical training they need, but the belief, support, and opportunities to progress.

At Proedge Football Academy, we’re not just focused on today — we’re building for the future. From our first coaching hire to launching academy teams and building club partnerships, every milestone brings us closer to delivering the full football development experience.
Our commitment to players and families extends far beyond the pitch, and our roadmap reflects our vision: to be the go-to destination for youth football coaching, player progression, and long-term opportunity across Hampshire and beyond
Year 1: Foundation & Launch
Proedge Football Academy begins its journey by launching in Farnborough, Fleet, and Aldershot, offering expert football coaching services tailored to children of all ages and abilities. Our initial focus is delivering structured 1-to-1 coaching and engaging group sessions in local parks on grass pitches, with plans to transition to 4G pitch facilities during the winter months.
These early foundations allow us to build strong relationships with families, schools, and grassroots football clubs in the area. We also lay the groundwork for long-term brand recognition by launching a professional website, growing our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and introducing our signature navy, gold, and white branding. Our aim is to create a coaching environment that balances football development with confidence building and mental well-being.
Year 2: Expansion & Recognition
In year two, we expand our coaching services to include toddler football sessions (ages 2–6), school holiday camps, and structured after-school clubs. With demand increasing, we begin hiring assistant coaches to scale delivery while maintaining our premium standards. Our reach grows through partnerships with grassroots teams and local schools, allowing us to support a wider range of players. Proedge continues to stand out for our tailored football coaching in Aldershot, Farnborough, and Fleet by offering consistent, professional sessions with a focus on long-term development. This year, we also apply for relevant coaching accreditations and small business grants, helping us reinvest into equipment, marketing, and staff development.
Year 3: Diversification & Systems
The third year is all about building systems that support sustainable growth. We introduce performance tracking tools and digital systems to monitor player development, with the goal of providing parents and players with clear feedback and measurable results. Our services diversify to include branded sportswear packages, premium training kits, and new session types like pre-season drills and plyometric training. We expand into neighbouring towns such as Camberley and Farnham, while also launching flexible monthly memberships and subscription coaching models. Internally, we begin developing a coach training programme to ensure every member of the team meets Proedge’s quality standards and embodies our development-first culture.
Year 4: Academy Development
With a strong player base and coaching team in place, we begin developing a structured football academy model. We create development squads for different age groups, offering elite-level training with pathways toward academy trials and club recruitment. Proedge hosts local showcase matches, talent ID events, and mini-tournaments — giving players the chance to test their growth in match situations. To support this, we seek access to larger or permanent training facilities in the local area. Our team expands to include admin support, content creation, and multiple assistant coaches. Proedge becomes known for offering some of the best youth football coaching in Farnborough and surrounding towns.
Year 5: National Growth & Club Affiliation
In year five, we look beyond our core areas to expand nationally. We explore launching Proedge satellite centres or a franchise model in nearby counties such as Surrey and Berkshire. Our aim is to build relationships with professional academies and clubs to create direct pathways for standout players. We also plan to launch a scholarship or bursary programme for talented young players from lower-income households to ensure Proedge stays inclusive. With interest from sponsors and investors, Proedge Academy positions itself as a leading name in football coaching, development, and youth support across the UK — known not just for results, but for making a lasting impact.
